No matter what it is that you do in this life, deep down inside when you do IT well, you want to say outloud, "I did a great job!" But, we wait for others to say it for us. We understand that we tend to be a little biased towards our own personal conquests. Nor do we want to appear too cocky about our ish. So, we lay in the cut beaming, anxious, excited and often afraid!
It would be a lie if I said I wasn't hoping for a great response for the release of my CD "Dust of a Rose!" -So I won't say it. But, I do want everyone to know that I feel blessed and I feel your support. Thank you for sharing my strengths and my insecurities!

Teau, I thought I'd be listening to Goapele or Hill Street Soul all Spring/Summer - but no, I listen to YOU and I'm still lovin' it. "You Got Me" and "Does He..." has me. "Next Stop" is so cool to listen to when I'm on the bus to/from work. Its fun to listen to the WHOLE album (and how many albums can we say we do THAT to?) from beginning to end. Its the STYLE of the music that grabs you. I'm going to have to agree with the person that said "who'd wanna' buy Janet Jackson's new album when they could get Dust of a Rose?". Keep your music YOUR way forever whether you sing, write, or produce for others. THIS is what we want to hear. Original music that is so satisfying to listen to. Just wait until this album drops. It sells itself. You don't have to do anything. GOSH I LOVE YOU TEAU!!!!!!! -S ;-)
